Get Rid Of Under Eye Circles

IMG_4071.JPG
“If you want to learn how to get rid of dark under eye circles, you need to find ingredients proven to be effective, and look away from the mainstream big name brands as they never live up to expectations, as you may have found. Here are my tips for the best to take years off your appearance.”

“Most eye gels fail to work as they contain so little of any worthwhile ingredient because they’re expensive and far too many harmful chemicals like parabens and mineral oil which harm your skin and health with long term use.

Probably the best ingredient is called Eyeliss™, to reduce any puffiness and reduce those dark circles and bags that give away your age.

In a recent clinical study of Eyeliss™, 65% of volunteers showed a marked reduction in bags under their eyes in just 28 days and 62%…

Night time make up look

Hiii Friends! Today I’m going to show you how I did this look. I got inspired by one of my favourite you tubers, Gangemistyles. It’s all around a winged eye look and red lips 🙂

image

First of all, the base to this look is matte, so I chose matte face base products. I decided not to use a primer for this look as the only ones I have make the face dewy which I didn’t want.

For my foundation, I used Rimmel Stay Matte in soft beige. This foundation is thick but goes onto the face nicely. I used my real techniques stippling brush and stipple then buffed it onto my skin. I tried not to cover my under eye area with this as I wanted to use concealer in this area. I used L’Oréal True Match in beige under my eyes as this brightens the area up. I use my finger to lightly pat the concealer and blend it.

image

image

After putting the cream products on I have then used a highlighting setting pressed powder. It’s from Daiso. I love this because it has three colours to it; blue, yellow and white which helps with under eye circles. I used this with a Eco Blush brush.

image

I have then moved on to sculpting my cheek bones and bringing some colour to my face. I used a inexpensive bronzer which is the Kmart brand, LOL. It’s a matte bronzing powder in the colour brown sugar. I used this with a medium contouring brush from Elf. For my cheeks I have used my Elf blush in Tickled Pink.

image

For my eyes, I used a Naked 2 pallete. This is not the real Urban Decay palette, the colours are still quite nice though and pigmented. I used the colour ‘Verve’ for my crease, then ‘Booty Call’ for the lid and ‘Black out’ for the outer v area for a small amount of definition. I also used another Daiso product called Pearl in eye shadow, I used the white colour in my inner corner to brighten the eyes up. I used a flat eye shadow brush from the pallete and a blending brush because the colours need to blend so there are no harsh lines.

image

image

Now I never forget my eye brows. I used my Daiso eye brow pencil to fill in my eye brows.

image

I then used my Elf Cream eyeliner to make my wing. I used a small angle brush which actually comes with the eyeliner. It’s such an easy eyeliner to use. The angled brush is sturdy and makes it easy to create the outline. The eyeliner glides on so nicely.

image

For my lashes, as I haven’t got long luscious eye lashes I used some faux eye lashes that I bought from EBay.  I used a pair of tweezers to place them on. The glue I used is one from Daiso. (I don’t have a photo of the eye lashes because I used them)

image

And for the main part of the look, the lips, I used a deep red. Firstly I used a faux M.A.C lip liner in the colour burgundy to give my lips an outline and because red lipstick can be quite messy. The lipstick I used, is my favourite! It’s from Rimmel London and the colour is 170 Alarm. It’s such a gorgeous red.

I would wear this look out for either a glamorous day look or a beautiful stunning night look.

I’m still learning to ins and outs of make up, colours and different styles. I love this look because it’s simple. To clean up any untidy lines I used a cotton bud and a little bit of concealer to trace around it to make any lines sharp.

Thanks Gangemistyles for this tutorial and giving me the inspiration to create this look on myself. I have no used the same products however it still turns out nicely.

Farewell for another beautiful Aussie day.

My everyday skin care and make up routine

Hello hello! Today I thought I’d post about my every day skin routine and make up. I only ever really wear make up when I am working or going out for the day on an adventure as in shopping, dinner, movies etc. Any other time I like to keep my face fresh and clean.  I have combination skin so depending on the weather, my health.. I can have bad or good skin days. I usually don’t keep make up on my face for more then 8 hours.

Slight disclaimer – I am not sponsored or anything by any of the following company’s, this is my own daily make up and skin care routine. This is not a review of any type.

Every morning and night I use my straight forward easy skin care routine. I use Simple moisturiser face wash, soothing facial toner and hydrating light moisturiser.  This has done wonders for my skin.  It keeps my face feeling smooth, moisturised and clean.

image

I keep a pretty easy make up routine because I don’t like wearing much make up on every day basis.

The first thing I use is Face of Australia face base primer, 3 in 1. I have found this great because it doesn’t make my face oily as its oil free however it still gives a dewy look.

image

I then use Maybelline Fit me foundation in 125 which is a warm tone. I think it gives a light to medium coverage and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It’s easy to apply, I use a real techniques stippling brush.

image

After my foundation I’ll use concealer, I like to use L’Oréal True Match in beige 4. I have horrible dark circles under my eyes so I feel this gives a good coverage and also brightens the area up.

image

To make sure my foundation and concealer stay in place I use Maybelline Instant Age rewind pressed powder in Nude. Again this doesn’t feel heavy on my face and I like the light coverage it adds.
image

Now for my blush I like to swap between my favourite two. First one is Elf blush in Tickled Pink, I think it gives a matte finish and it’s a lovely natural pink colour. Second one also Elf but it’s a baked blush in Rich rose, this gives a slight dark rose colour but also gives some highlight to the cheek area.

image

For my eyes, I’ll start with my eyebrows. I unfortunately am naturally blonde which gives me that “no eyebrow” look. I darken my hair so I like to use pencil on my eye brows in a light brown colour. I use a pencil from a store called Daiso! I paid $2.80 for this and it’s the best I’ve tried! I then go between mascaras. The mascaras i like to use are Essence Lashes go wild or Rimmel Extra Super lash in black.

image

image

image

Then at the end of all this, if I feel like adding some lipstick I’ll usually go for a close to skin colour or corally colour. I use Maybelline Color Sensation in the colour Mango Diamonds 445. On top of this I’ll use Elf Super glossy lip shine in Honey do. This lip gloss has a lovely sweet smell and doesn’t taste to bad either haha!

And that is my every day skin care and make up routine. I like to keep it simple :)!

I hope you enjoyed reading about my routine.

Thanks for reading!!! Ciao x
